With their super fine formulations and professional application, a tanned new you is only hours away. Here are just a few simple tips to help you achieve the best results for your St Tropez tan.
Before your appointment :
Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate!
Exfoliation is the first step towards smooth soft skin, and in preperation for your fake tan it is vitally important.Exfoliation will remove dead skin cells that can lead to dull skin and a patchy tan. It is important not to use an exfoliator with oil in it, as this can inhibit the adhesion of the tanning solution. We always recommend that you use St Tropez’s body polish as this is perfectly formulated to work in harmony with the tanning formulation. This is a widely available product and we always keep it in stock at The Nail Hut.
Don’t moisturise your skin on the day of your appointment. We will use St Topez moisturisers to hydrate your skin in specific areas.
Don’t shave on the day of your treatment, and any waxing must been done at least 24 hours in advance.
Wear loose clothing after your tan has been applied so that tan isn’t rubbed away by restrictive clothing.
In between appointments keep skin well hydrated with a suitable moisturiser. Again, we recommend St Tropez Body moisturiser for optimal results. You could even use their gradulal tan moisturiser to prolongue results.
Whether you intend to have another treatment or not we recommend you GENTLY exfoliate a few days after your tanning treatment, and every few days after that. This will ensure your tan fades naturally whilst also keeping your skin fresh and ready for your next treatment
